A week long All India Training of Trainers (TOT) on Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Programme organized at HIPA concluded here today. The programme was organized by Infrastructural Development Finance Company (IDFC) Foundation, New Delhi under National PPP Capacity Building Programme of the Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India. This TOT is seventh in the series and first to be organized in this region of the country. It was attended by participants and senior government functionaries from Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Odisha, Bihar, Gujrat, Punjab, Rajasthan.
Dinesh Malhotra, Director HIPA in his valedictory address elaborated on the importance of PPP in state where PPP can prove a good option especially with expansion of Governments obligations and fund constraints. He also thanked the faculty from IDFC Foundation, New Delhi especially, Cherian Thomas, CEO IDFC Foundation and Chandrima Sinha Sr. Vice President IDFC Foundation for organizing the event in HIPA. On the occasion Course Director of the Programme Dr. Rakesh Sharma also briefed about the annual roll-out plan of the PPP Programmes to be organized at HIPA which will comprise sensitization, awareness, basic and advanced level courses.
