The fourth meeting of H.P. Micro and Small Facilitation Council was held today under the chairmanship of J.S. Rana, Director, Industries which was constituted as per the provisions made under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act, 2006. In this meeting of the council four references for the delayed payment amounting to Rs. 18276967 of the Micro and Small enterprises namely M/s Jaynti Polymers Industries, Baddi, M/s Process equipment India, Poanta Sahib, M/s Himachal Wires Industries (P) Ltd., Damtal and M/s Himachal Aluminum and Conductors, Mohthli, Kangra were received and the matter of the delayed payment to the aggrieved parties were discussed.
Under the guidance of Chairman of the HP Micro & Small Facilitation Council the successful facilitation proceedings were conducted in two references which involve a sum of Rs. 1678057 and in other two references it has been directed to convene the next meeting of the council on 16th January, 2012. The H.P. Micro and Small Facilitation Council has been constituted to facilitate Micro and Small Enterprises to settle the dispute of delayed payment for the goods supplied by the Micro and Small Suppliers to buyers out of court, thereby savings the parties to such disputes from protracted legal battles. The list of the defaulting units of the HPFC has been placed on the website of the Corporation and all the Micro and Small manufactures are advised to go through the list of such defaulting units engaging themselves with such units.
