Senior BJP leader and Nahan MLA Dr Rajiv Bindal has urged Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh to reconsider the decision of shifting a fire brigade station from Kala Amb to some other place.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Bindal said the fire-fighting station was benefiting residents of adjoining 20 panchayats during different emergencies and shifting it would be unfair for the Kala Amb industrial area and adjoining panchayats.
A fire brigade station of Kala Amb was opened by the previous BJP government.
