A delegation of Solan led by Chairman Marketing Committee Solan Ramesh Thakur and Director BoD, HPTDC Surender Sethi called on Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh at his office today.
Delegation demands to upgrade Kandaghat Hospital to 100 bedded hospital, construction of 10 kms of road from DDL Factory to Chauda road near Kandaghat road Ashwani Khud bridge. They requested to upgrade High Schools Dol-Ka-Jubbad and Kotla to Ten Plus Two standard, Middle schools Tikri Tananji and Kana to High Schools. They also urged for the construction of Lift Irrigation Scheme Quarg Panchayat Chamba Ka Nall to village Deiun Shichda Dmehri Anji and Lift Irrigation Scheme at Kurgal Dhamdheri Delgi Kothi.
Social Justice & Empowerment Minister Dr. Col. Dhani Ram Shandil was also present on the occasion. Chief Minister assured the delegation to consider their demands sympathetically.
A deputation of Changar Congress Shahpur constituency of Kangra district also called on Chief Minister. They requested the Chief Minister to restore the Har Chakian-Nera via Chalain road which was damaged due to heavy rains during the monsoon. They also requested to strengthen the Go-seva Sadan in the area.
Vice Chairman HP State Forest Corporation Kewal Singh Pathania, General Secretary Changar Congress Nirmal Singh, President Mahilla Parishad Rekha Chandel, General Secretary Block Congress Shahpur Ashok Bharti, Block Samiti Members Hans Raj and Gagan Ram were also present on the occasion.
