Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sarveen Chaudhary presides the meeting of BOD of Himachal Backward Classes, Finance and Development Corporation and claims to distribute Rs. 3.28-cr of loan to the 214 beneficiaries of Backward Classes during 2010-11.
She said that the Corporation received third prize for its better performance at national level in 2010, adding that the Corporation had recovered the loan of Rs. 3.5-cr during 2010-11, which was the highest till now. She added that concession of 0.50 percent in interest was given by National Backward Classes, Finance and Development Corporation for making repayment well in time. As a result, the State Backward Classes Corporation had been given Rs. 28.27 lakh as concession and Rs. 18.74 lakh as incentive money.
A Budget of Rs. 1.30-cr of the Board was approved for 2011-12 and it was also decided in a meeting to give remaining amount as per revised pay scales to its employees on the analogy of State Government Employees.
