To ensure overall development of Industrial Training Institute Solan, Mandi and Nadaun (situated at Rel) in Hamirpur District, the H.P. Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training Department has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maruti Suzuki India, Ltd.
On behalf of Himachal Pradesh Government under chairmanship of Principal Secretary Technical Education, K. Sanjay Murthy, Director, Technical Education Rajeshwar Goel and Vice President, Human Resources C.M. Raju of Maruti Suzuki Ltd. singed the MoU.
K. Sanjay Murthy said that such type of MoU had been signed for the first time in the State under which Maruti Management would work for development of industrial infrastructure, human resources development, instructors/trainees training programme besides ample employment opportunities for trainees, and skill development of the trainees.
He said that C.S. Raju will be the Chairman of the Institutional Management Committees of these three ITI’s.
