BJP Hamirpur candidate Anurag Thakur is all gear up for the parliamentary election and campaigning vigorously in various assembly segments of the parliamentary constituencies.
Commenting on the opposition candidates of Congress and Aam Aadmi party, Anurag Thakur claimed that they are no match for him. He expressed firm faith in the electorate of the Hamirpur parliamentary segment, who had already sent him twice in 2008 (bye-poll) and 2009 to the parliament with thumping margin.
He said that there is strong Narendra Modi’s wave across the nation and people of the country wanted him to lead. He claimed that the electorates across the country were highly disenchanted with the anti-people policies of Congress led UPA Govt. He also hoped to do well in Himachal Pradesh despite losing assembly election to Congress in 2012.
Anurag Thakur believed that people of the state have lost their confidence in chief minister Virbhadra Singh’s government. He accused Congress led state Govt for stalling the development of the state. He termed the fifteen months of Virbhadra led government as total failure and accused him to haunting political opponents, especially his family.
He stated that in the past fifteen months government has not initiated any developmental program for the state. He said that the conditions of roads are deteriorating to worse from bad and terming out as a nightmare for the commuters. Poor people of the state were worse affected as they were not even getting subsidized ration depots.
BJYM national president hoped that the youth of the country, particularly Himachal Pradesh, would play a major role in the 2014 parliamentary elections.
