The School of Architecture at APG Shimla University starts a dedicated course in architecture with aims to develop a creative, diverse and rigorous approach towards architecture & design among its students from the outset. APG seek to generate an enthusiasm for architecture, and to inculcate a spirit of inquiry, which will stimulate life-long learning – a necessary characteristic for professionals who must respond to a rapidly changing construction industry. The curriculum has been designed to equip its students with the skills to practice architecture, but as importantly, an understanding of technological, professional, cultural and architectural contexts within which those skills may be deployed in a knowing and imaginative way.
