A delegation of Municipal Corporation, Shimla led by Mayor MC Shimla Sanjay Chauhan, met Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here today and apprised him of the present fiscal status of the corporation besides other demands.
The delegation urged the Chief Minister for capital grant and abolition of unit area method of tax collection. Virbhadra Singh assured the delegation that their demands would be considered on priority. Tikender Panwar, Deputy Mayor and councillors of MC Shimla were also present on the occasion.
