Election Commission of India had directed to remove all the hoardings and advertisements of the State Government or the Central Government paid from the public exchequer immediately according to the spokesman of the Election Department.
Election Commission of India has also directed to remove any advertisements showing achievements of the State Government or Central Government and any advertisements of schemes or Programmes of State and Central government on the walls of schools or any other Government buildings with immediate effect. All the Deputy Commissioner in the State had been directed to ensure the removal of such hoardings/ advertisements at once.
