As per the recommendation of fifth pay commission the officials of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Development Corporation would be given arrear at par with employees of other departments of the State Government.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Sarveen Chaudhary told it in a meeting here today. She said that effective measures would be taken to recover the pending loan amount given in financial year 2010-11 so as to strengthen the financial position of the Board. She said that a plan was being formulated to provide financial assistance to 4400 SC families and 350 ST families under various schemes launched in the State in the year 2011-12 to benefit these families.
The Minister said that under SC Sub Plan a provision of Rs. 816 crore had been made in this financial year as compared to Rs. 231 crore in years 2007-08.
