Congress senior leader Virbhadra Singh has announced a full political war at Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. He said that as the party’s campaign committee head he will ensure the end of misrule of BJP Govt and with the people of Himachal Pradesh he will form Congress government in the forthcoming assembly election.
Virbhadra Singh accused Prem Kumar Dhumal for fabricating cases against political opponents, which takes toll of development in state. On a micro blogging site he said
Instead of focusing on development, Chief Minister Dhumal has wasted his time in fabricating cases against his political opponents. My appointment as the chairman of the party’s campaign committee, after resigning from the Union Cabinet, has given me the opportunity to lead an open struggle for the Congress’s return to power in the state. Maybe as a Union Minister, I would have found it difficult to devote all my time to the campaign, but now it is going to be a full-fledged war – both legal and political and it is going to be a decisive one to oust Dhumal, who is presiding over this Jungle Raj
