Baba Hardip Singh was unanimously re-elected state president of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) for the third time in succession by 96 delegates present from all parts of the state.
He was authorised by the general house to form the state executive committee within a month. Chandigarh INTUC president Kulbir Singh and prominent leaders Vikram Chopra and Harjinder Singh were present as central observers. Baba Hardip Singh is staunch supporter of Congress stalwart Virbhadra Singh.
