Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said that present State Government had accelerated the pace of development in Sirmour district and added that developmental works undertaken during last three years and schemes started during this period speak for themselves. He said that people must have realized that the development that had taken place in the district, the maximum credit goes to his Government. He was addressing a public meeting at Gattadhar in Sirmour District after dedicating Primary Health Centre building constructed at a cost of Rs.45 lac to the people of the area. He said that an ambulance would be made available for the area under Atal Swasthya Sewa soon.
Chief Minister said that 1456 villages of Sirmour district have been provided drinking water and irrigation facilities during last three years whereas these facilities have been provided to only 853 villages during the tenure of previous Government.
