Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (SJVNL) presented a dividend cheque of Rs. 84.40 crore to the chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. Chairman-cum- Managing Director of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (SJVNL) R.P. Singh presented the cheque and it’s 25.5 percent equity share of the Nigam. R.N. Mishar, Director, Civil, A.S. Bindra, Director, Finance and Nand Lal Sharma, Director, Personnel were also present on the occasion.
R.P. Singh said that in the year 2010-11, Rs. 330.93 crore was earned as dividend and in August, 2011 Nathpa Jhakri Hydel Project produced 1151 MU power which was a record adding that from April to August, 2011, 4865 MU power was produced.
