High-end cottages at Bemloe are receiving one after another furor from the local public and activists. RTI activist Om Prakash today sought registration of a police case against those who had allegedly forged signatures and submitted false documents to get sanction for the construction of a road to the site, amidst a thick deodar forest.

RTI activist made a representation to the DGP seeking initiation of criminal proceedings against those who had furnished wrong information and forged the signature of the “dead” to get approval for the construction of a road from Parsi Cemetery to Old Brewery. He alleged that some of the people whose names had been shown as residents of the area never resided there.

In his letter addressed to the DGP, he demanded that the handwriting in the two documents, one which was supposed to have been submitted by residents and the other by the owners of the construction firm should be got examined by handwriting experts.
