Chief Minister has passed directions to the law and order machinery of the State to beef up the security in the State particularly in border areas, towns, bus stands, religious shrines, crowded places in view of bomb blast in New Delhi today.
He directed the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police to intensify the vigil on all sensitive areas besides vital establishments. He directed them to intensify night patrolling and keep strict vigil on suspicious characters in their respective areas.
Chief Minister said that though law and order situation in the State was the best in the country but precautionary measures were the need of the hour in the larger interest of protection of the precious human lives as well as property.
