Man loses life after slipping into gorge

A man fell into a 20-metre deep gorge near holy township of Bharmour subdivision in Chamba district last evening and died on the spot. Deceased is identified as Jamphoo Ram, a resident of Khandoli village in Sinyoor panchayat near Holi Township. It is reported that the deceased had gone to finalise the date of marriage of his son, and while returning he slipped from a hillock and he plunged into a deep gorge.
