It is reported that the India Meteorological Department is setting up high-tech radar system at Jakhu in Shimla that will help to forecast the natural calamities. Official confirms the development and said that it’ll be the state’s first weather centre and will have an aerial reach of 150 km. Official confirm that government has two acres for it. Observatory system will take almost year to install.
