Himalayan region has experienced another earthquake in the last couple of weeks. It was measured around 5.3 at Richter scale and with an epicentre in Nepal-Indo Border. It was felt around 5:05 PM and lasted for 3 seconds. No damage has been reported yet, but after recent Japan’s havoc and repeated under earth activity in the past two weeks living doubts and fear in many minds.
After the Japan’s catastrophic earthquake and followed tsunami havoc that take many lives and also damaged Fukushima nuclear plant, radiation problem has gripped whole world, and with the recent but minor earth jolt in India that’s epicentre was very near to Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) Narora, UP. Authority has clear that it has caused no damage to the plant and it’s operating normally.
