Smt.Shakuntala Pandey National General Secretary and incharge party affairs of Nationalist Congress Party in Himachal Pradesh in a press conference in Manali on Sunday said, that party will contest all the assembly segments of seats in forthcoming Vidhan Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh. She said that party would soon launch a statewide campaign to recruit members in their party from all sections of the society to strengthen its organization.
Smt. Pandey said that in every District of Himachal a workers shivir would be organized to apprise the workers of their party’s ideology, programs and strategies for ensuing elections. She also said that the people of Himachal are very honest, innocent and hardworking. Their party would extend every possible assistance to the progressive entrepreneurs of Himachal at the centre for approval of projects being initiated in the state. Himachal is rich in natural resources and people should go in for canning and processing of fruits, vegetables especially apple and mushroom.
She urged the people of Himachal to avail benefits of schemes and facilities of central govt., especially under Agriculture and Food processing sector. State President of Mahila Morcha, Madam Davina welcomed Smt. Pandey and assured of her every possible effort and contribution towards strengthening of party in Himachal Pradesh. Madam Davina revealed that very soon she would tour the state and instruct all the Mahila wings of Districts to undertake a massive membership drive.
