The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Limited (HPTDC) has made special and attractive arrangements for the tourists in its various Hotels by floating packages for celebrating X-Mass and New Year Eves. Enchanting Gala nights, selection of best dancing child, Couple & New Year Eve Prince and Princess, Competition in Balloon & Lemon Dance, Live Music, Dine N Dance, Welcome the New year with Joy and Good Cheer will be the major attractions for the tourists.
Managing Director, HPTDC Vineet Kumar said that these would be such a rememberable moments which can never be forgotten. The special celebrations will take place in Hotel Holiday Home Shimla, Palace Hotel Chail, Peterhof Shimla, Pinewood Barog, Manimahesh Dalhousie, Rox Common, Kasauli including Dharamsala and Manali Complexes.
The Managing Director said that Hotel Holiday Home, Shimla, Log/Orchards Huts/Hadimba Cottages/Hotel Kunzum/Rohtang Manalsu/ Club House in Manali Complex, Hotel Pinewood Barog and Hotel Manimahesh Dalhousie will celebrate X-Mass and New Year Eves with variety of entertainments and special packages are available in thes Hotels for both the auspicious occasions.
The packages will be inclusive of Gala Night followed by DJ Music night, Dine ‘N’ Dance with multiplicity of snacks, three course meals by displaying delicious dishes of Himachali, Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine food etc. Attractive prizes will be given to the winners of the events including children.

The MD said that the Special Classical Fusion Music Night being organized in Hotel Holiday Home, Shimla on 17th December, 2011 is the the beginning of the series of the musical programmes scheduled in the above Corporation Hotels during the upcoming X-Mass and New Year Eves in which Mr.Subhash Ghosh, a renowned classical musician will perform his musical melodies and harmonies of classical fusion music on his newly invented instrument -titled by him as Swar Ragini- a blend of Sitar, Guitar and Sarod.
