A meeting of 4th Finance Commission was presided over by Dile Ram, Chairman 4th Finance Commission here today. Finance Commission stressed to implement the recommendations of 3rd Finance Commission. It was also decided to ensure proper use of grant given to Zila Parishads, Block Samitis, Gram Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies by the 3rd Finance Commission.
A decision to fill up technical posts and other categories in the 4th Finance Commission was also reached upon. It was also decided to include Finance Commission (Miscellaneous Provision) Act, 1951 in the working of the Commission. SKBS Negi, Member, Finance Commission, Dr. S.K. Shad, Member Secretary (Finance Commission) attended the meeting among others.
