Dharmashala: Himachal Pradesh five day winter session the Vidhan Sabha is to begin from tomorrow at Tapovan, Dharmashala, and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh confident that treasury and opposition bench would discuss the development matters in the house.
The Chief Minister, speaking to the media here, on being questioned about the strategy, as the opposition planning to Gherao the ruling party said the opposition would cooperate in running the house smoothly and hoped that various issues of development would be discussed in better interest of the people of the State.
Virbhadra Singh brushed aside other queries of media pertaining to allegation of corruption against him as being leveled by opposition. He said that the issues pertaining to his income tax returns were at different stages in various appellate authorities.
To ensure the smooth functioning of the winter session, a meeting was convened between Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and the leader of Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal at official residence of the Chief Minister at Shimla.
In the winter session of HP Vidhan Sabha in all there will be 5 settings. One day has been earmarked for Private Members’ Business and the House will also consider important Legislative Business.
