BJP leader and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal is campaigning aggressively in state to ensure victory in assembly poll. Dhumal holds campaign rallies at various parts of Sirmaur, including Paonta Sahib, Shillai and Dadahu in favour of BJP candidates Sukh Ram, Baldev Tomar and Suresh Kashyap. In his address, Dhumal accused Congress led UPA Govt for the large scale corruption and lakhs of crore scams.
He alleged that these multi billion scams will hit Indian economy hard and inflation and lack of development is a live example of it. He said while the common man had been burdened with abrupt and extraordinary hike in the price of diesel, LPG and petrol, the Congress-led UPA government appeared to be ‘unfazed’ by the plight of the common man. To stop all this Chief Minister urged the voters to vote for them as the government had carried out an all-round development of the state.
He alleged that the Congress had ‘failed’ to provide any relief to the common man in its poll manifesto. He also detailed out his Govt achievements and accused Congress for trying to ‘belittle’ the achievement of the state government by taking credit of them.
Dhumal also attack HPCC president Virbhadra Singh over corruption allegations and blamed him to failed to protect the interests of the state.
