Solan: The state BJP will intensify its campaign against Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and has decided to ask the Union Government to probe corruption cases against Chief Minister and his family.
State party leaders BJP spokespersons Anurag Thakur, Randhir Sharma, Ganesh Dutt Sharma, Ajay Rana and Chander Mohan Thakur, while addressing press here today revealed to step up its stir against the Chief Minister until he resigned.
In a party’s executive committee meeting here today, committee has unanimously passed a resolution pressing for a probe.
From past some time, the state BJP had been raising corruption issues against CM at various platforms and even submitted a charge-sheet listing various allegations of corruption like possession of disproportionate assets and irregularities in filing income tax returns to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and the President. However, BJP believed that no action was initiated against him.
The State BJP had many times accused the Chief Minister for victimizing BJP leaders by slapping false cases.
State affairs in charge and national vice-president Balbir Punj, national organising secretary Ram Lal, state BJP president Satpal Satti, former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and MPs Ram Swarup Sharna, Anurag Thakur, JP Nadda and Virender Kashyap along with party leaders were present at the occasion.
