The Himachal Pradesh BJP has raises doubts over the government’s decision to give appointment to the son of a retired police officer as an inspector in the department in blatant violation of rules and regulations.
In a press communiqué, state BJP spokesperson, Ganesh Dutt said it was strange that employment was being provided to the son of an officer who retired from service more than two years ago while wards of many officers and employees who died while in service were awaiting employment on compassionate grounds.
Dutt alleged that the person concerned was neither eligible to be appointed as an inspector in the police nor the rules allowed any such recruitment. He alleged that it seemed that there were no rules and regulations under the Congress government.
