A cloudburst at Changut village of the Miyar Valley in Lahaul-Spiti district has caused a intensive lose as over 220 sheep and goats, three cowsheds, five windmills and a vital bridge were washed away.
The flash floods have washed away huge chunks of agricultural land and the road and Shufto, Khanjar, Thingrath, Udghot and Shalini villages’ were also cut off from the rest of world as road links to these villages have been washed away by the cloudburst. However there are no reports of any human causality.
