Shimla: APG Shimla University is offering scholarship benefits to support meritorious and financially weak students. APG Shimla University, which is one of sixteen private universities in Himachal Pradesh, is hoping to attract more students with its latest fee program. University is offering fee concessions on a charity and academic basis.
On a Charity basis, APG Shimla University is offering a flat 10 per cent concession to all bona fide Himachal Pradesh students and a 25 per cent concession to each of the brother/sister studying in the university. SC/ST/OBC students get scholarships from their state Govt and if Govt fail to pay it, APG University will provide a 20 per cent concession in their fee. University has also covered Single girl child under its scholarship scheme and offering a 30 per cent concession for Single girl child.
University is offering a 50 per cent concession to those children who have lost their father and giving 100 per cent concession to those who have lost their both parents. This concession will continue if a student maintains his CGPA – 6.00 minimum
APG Shimla University is also honouring students with distinction in sports and giving 35 per cent concession to all national winners, 30 per cent to national runners-up, 25 per cent to national participants and to all state winners, 15 per cent to all state runner-up and 10 per cent to all state participants. This concession will continue if a student maintains his CGPA – of 6.00 minimum. Finances wouldn’t be a hindrance to differently-abled students as APG University is giving a 25 per cent concession to them.
Apart from a charity basis, APG Shimla University is offering scholarships on an Academic basis as well.
In M-Tech, University offers a 25 per cent concession for GATE-qualified students. University giving 25 per cent concession to those students who had secured 70 per cent and above in B-Tech and 15 per cent concession on 60 per cent and above in B-Tech.
In B-Tech and B.Arch, APG offering a 50 per cent concession on JEE rank between (1-100000), a 30 per cent concession on JEE rank between (100000-200000), a 50 per cent concession on 80 per cent and above in 12th class, 25 per cent concession on 70 per cent and above in 12th and 15 per cent concession on 60 per cent and above in 12th.
In MBA, the university offering a 25 per cent concession on the 80 percentile on CAT/MAT/XAT/HP CMAT exams, a 25 per cent concession on the 70 percentile for a bachelor’s degree and 15 per cent concession on the 60 per cent in the bachelor degree.
In BBA/ BHM/ BHM (TT)/ BSc (FD)/BJMC/ BALLB/BBA LLB courses, APG Shimla University offering 25 per cent concession for those students who had secured 70 percentile in +2 and 15 per cent concession on 60 and above percentile in +2
For MJMC and LLB, the university offering a 25 per cent concession on 70 per cent for bachelor’s degree and 15 per cent concession on 60 per cent in bachelor’s degrees. However, in LLM, APG offering 25 per cent concession on 70 per cent in LLB and 15 per cent concession on 60 per cent in LLB.
