Senior Bilaspur Congress leader and 20-point committee chairman Ram Lal Thakur has urged chief minister Virbhadra Singh to order time bound inquiry into the affairs of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) by a sitting high court judge.
He urged the chief minister to “fulfill the desire of former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal” and order an inquiry. Thakur said that if the land allotment to the HPCA was found to have been made by floating the rules, the land should be surrendered to the state government and the guilty punished.
Congress leader claimed that a big scam had been played out in the state cricket association led by former chief minister Dhumal and his MP son Anurag Thakur.
