Minister for Transport, Technical Education and Food and Consumer Affairs GS Bali announced that students studying in government schools in the state will have free transport facility in HRTC buses from the coming academic session, which will benefit at least 12 lakh students.
Cabinet Minister GS Bali said it at the annual day function of Government High School at Thanabargran village falling in the Nagrota Bagwan Assembly segment.
He also said that the vocational training would be started in government schools shortly from Class IX and students after passing Class X examination with vocational subjects would get direct admission in polytechnic second year.
