Revolt in Bharmour BJP is coming to fore as supporters of veteran BJP leader and Vidhan Sabha Speaker Tulsi Ram have openly criticised the party move to replace senior leader with newcomer.
Tulsi Ram supporters gathered at his residence in Paroudi village and convey their message to party high-command to review its decision. Aggrieved supporters decided not to support official candidate Jia Lal. They passed a resolution to field Tulsi Ram’s wife Leela Sharma as an Independent if the BJP did not review its decision. Leela Sharma is zila parishad member from Poolan ward in Bharmour at present.
With the news of rebellion in BJP from many constituencies in state and can spoil BJP chances to retain power in state. In Kangra District many senior leaders and workers have revolted against party official candidates, at Sujanpur Assembly constituency in Hamirpur district, Rajinder Rana has decided to contest independent, Nachan block BJP members have resigned in protest of denial ticket to Dile Ram and if it continue BJP rebels can give easy march for Congress to snatch power in state.
