The Himachal unit of CPM has lodged a Complaint against the functioning of the election teams of the 63-Shimla and 62-Kusumpati assembly constituencies. CPM alleged that in both constituencies the whole election teams were working in a biased manner. The CPM stated that it has taken prior permission for the affixing of the posters in the ear-marked sites/spaces in the M.C. area, but the teams are erected the posters, flex and banners etc. of the CPM.
CPM, in its complaint, has alleged that the election teams are not erected the posters and banners of the Congress and BJP even both these parties has not taken any permission from the M.C. Also the posters, stickers, ladi (Malas of posters), Flex and other election material of the BJP and the Congress has been affixed/tied in the forest area, but no action has been taken by the election teams in both these constituencies.
CPM also leveled serious allegations against the Congress, BJP and some police persons for threatening the weaker sections such as laborers, street vendors, in the municipal corporation area and even also snatching their voter identity cards. CPM demanded serious actions in this regards.
