Virbhadra Singh to contest assembly poll

Five-time former Chief Minister and the newly appointed state Congress chief Virbhadra Singh made clear that he will contest Assembly elections this time again. He said that he is dedicated to the service of the people.

He was speaking at his residence here a day after Congress president Sonia Gandhi issued formal late-night orders announcing him as the new party chief in the state. When asked about the Chief Minister post he party high-command will honour the sentiments of a majority of MLAs.

Virbhadra Singh, who was the Five-time former Chief Minister of the state and elected from the Rohru segment, but this time he will have to look for the some new segment as Rohru is now reserved for SC candidates. However, now it’s speculating that Singh can fight election from Shimla rural and Kasumpti constituencies.
