It seems that Senior Congress leaders have succeeded to mollify Himachal Pradesh five times Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who was in a rebellious mood after ignoring in screening committee. On a popular social media website Virbhadra Singh detailed out his meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who is heading the Congress screening committee for Himachal Pradesh. He added that he also appraised her with his willingness to return to the state politics and wanted to contest assembly election. Virbhadra Singh said

Today I met Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who is heading the Congress screening committee for Himachal Pradesh, and conveyed my desire to contest the assembly elections. I also suggested some parameters for selection of the candidates. Basic criterion for the ticket should be winnability and the track record of the candidate

It is learned that party Chief Sonia Gandhi has assured him ticket; however he has also demanded to appoint working party president. He has proposed his loyalists Harsh Mahajan, Sudhir Sharma, Gangu Ram Musafir and Harshvardhan Chauhan names for it. In a meeting Virbhadra Singh assured party high command that if tickets are allotted as per his choice he will ensure to win the assembly election. Sheila Dixit has reportedly assured Singh with the due importance in the ticket distribution.

After couple of days open rebellious from Virbhadra Singh, which had even threaten Congress chances in the coming assembly election, it will be solace to the high command and party workers as well, who are eagerly waiting for the permanent solution at least till then the assembly election. Virbhadra Singh is an important Congress leader in Himachal Pradesh and has greatest acceptability than other Congress leader in State. Therefore Virbhadra Singh’s presence can make difference for party prospect in the assembly election.
