A 40-year-old married woman of Jalani village in Danni gram panchayat and mother of five children was allegedly raped by three unidentified youths near Danni. Police has registered a case under Sections 323, 341 and 376, IPC.
The victim in her complaint to the police stated that on Saturday evening she was going to fetch her medicines, but on the way to Danni village she was overpowered by three unidentified youths and dragged her to a roadside field. She was allegedly gangraped by them who fled after committing the crime.
On Sunday morning she revealed incident to local woman Raj Rani, who, with the assistance of a non-governmental organisation, approached the police.
