On his Palampur visit, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal dedicated and laid foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs. 17.50 crore to the people of Palampur assembly segment in district Kangra today.
Chief Minister dedicated 33/11 KV Sub-Station at Nagri, constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.22 crore to benefit population of 34 thousand of 71 villages in 17 gram panchayats of the area with improved power and would solve their low voltage problem for all the time to come. He also dedicated Primary Health Centre at Pharer , completed at a cost of Rs. 35 lakh to the people of the area. He laid foundation stones of 33/11 KV Sub-Station at Darang, estimated to cost Rs. 3.15 crore to benefit a population of 28,000 of 80 villages in 18 gram panchayats; augmented DWWS for Dadh estimated to cost Rs. 72.21 lakh to benefit a population of 6,000 of 5 villages; augmented sewerage scheme for Palampur town, estimated to cost Rs. 1,09,85,500; 4.4 kms. long Link Road from Nagari to Mani Mahesh via Bashmehar Society, estimated to cost Rs. 2.42 crore and phase-II Complex of Marketing Committee at Palampur, estimated to cost Rs. 3.06 crore.
Chief Minister was given a rousing reception by local people in large number at all the places he visited to dedicate the development project and laying foundation stone of others. He also listened to public grievances as well and passed necessary directions to the concerned authorities to dispose off all such complaints by delivering relief to the aggrieved parties. Ravinder Singh Ravi, IPH Minister, Vipan Parmar, Shri Praveen Kumar, MLAs, Kripal Parmar, former MP, Trilok Kapoor, Chairman, Woolfed, P.L.Thakur, Inspector General of Police, R.S.Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Diljeet Thakur, Superintendent of Police, other senior officers and prominent people of the area accompanied the Chief Minister.
