The district committee under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has proposed an annual budget of Rs 23.65cr for the Mandi district for 2012-13. Budget is about 6.65 crore more from last year.
Presiding over the meeting, PWD Minister Gulab Singh Thakur, chairperson of the committee, said the committee had proposed a Rs 23.65-cr budget under the NRHM for 2012-13 keeping in mind the need of patients in the district. Thakur said each sub-centre, primary and community health centres, civil hospitals and first referral units were run on NRHM funds.
