It is the time where Adventure Sports rule high, and rightly so, the rush of adrenaline and the sheer exhilaration of adventure is what keeps us all ticking. A new edition of MTB Himachal is about to set off, and we were in conversation with Mr. Mohit, an organizing member of MTB. Here’s our conversation with him, about MTB.
TNH: What would you like to say about the current edition of MTB?
A: This is the biggest mtb so far about 120 riders expected to take part in this edition . Highest ever Indian participation for the event.
TNH: How has the response been so far?
A: The response from the Indian participants has been awesome ……the mtb culture has arrived in india …as this is the biggest adventure sport in the world ….
TNH: How did this idea take root?
A: The idea took shape after seeing the benefits cycling tourism brought to areas it was promoted across the world ..like usa Canada etc..
TNH: What are the requirements for participants?

TNH: Would you elaborate on the arrangements for safety, health and lodging of participants?
A: Elaborate arrangements for safety like rescue teams from the mountaineering experts , government doctors and hospitals on stand by , ambulances travelling with the event , Helicopter on stand by.
TNH: What will winners of the rally take away?
A: lacs of total prize money in cash …..
TNH: How helpful has the goverment been for the organizing of these events?
A: The government has been very helpful and supportive with logistical and financial help .
TNH: What do you see in the future for MTB?
A: Mtb would be the biggest adventure sport in the country in the next ten years.
