The recruitment of ex-servicemen, General Duty and Tradesmen in Ecological Battalion of Territorial Army will held at Kufri in Shimla on 8th and 9th of April 2011 at 8AM. This was stated by Captain HAS Sekhon, Adjutant for commanding officer, here today. He added that ex-servicemen for General duty should be bonafide Himachali, whereas this condition does not apply for those ex-servicemen who were to appear for recruitment of tradesmen. They can be from any State of Indian Union, said he.
Apart from this, it was mandatory that the interested candidates for both the categories should be drawing pension and should not be more than 45 years of age. The ex-servicemen should be remarked as exemplary in Character Certificate. He should have been retired after 30th April, 2006 and at the time of retirement he should be physically SHAPE-1. He said that all the candidates should bring with them documents like Pension Payment Order, Discharge Orders, Domicile Certificates duly attested by the topsiders, four passport size coloured photographs, Character Certificate signed by Pradhan of concerned Gram Panchayat and School Education Certificate. The candidates should also bring Photostat copies of each documents, said he.
