In Jubbal public meeting, Virbhadra Singh has criticised State Govt for dilapidated roads’ in the Apple region of Shimla district. He said that Govt has no right to talk about benefit to the apple growers when it has even failed to maintain roads in Shimla’s apple-belt. He alleged that BJP led Govt has neglected the region and the deplorable condition of roads is a live example of it.
Virbhadra Singh also target State Govt over Apple Carton factory at Pragati Nagar near Kotkhai and said that the State Govt. has sabotaged the interests of fruit growers. He alleged that the anti-hail gun experiment of the BJP government was a “spectacular failure”, and in Jubbal rally he assured apple growers that on coming to power, the Congress would provide them anti-hail nets on subsidised rates.
