Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh assured to do justice with parents and teachers association (PTA) appointed teachers.
Chief Minister, while speaking at the concluding ceremony of Lavi Fair, hailed services of PTA appointed teachers and asserted that the state government was doing a lot for their welfare and promised to do justice with them by regularizing their services.
Earlier, PTA teachers’ delegation met Chief Minister at Rampur and apprised him about their problems and delay in implementing policy that was declared in 2013.
More then 6000 PTA appointed teachers were rendering their services from past eight to nine years and after series of protest and agitation, the state cabinet in July 2013, had given its nod to take over their services on contract basis under Grant-in-Aid after completion of continuous eight years of service as per PTA Rules 2006 in relaxation of R&P rules.
