To spread the various policies and programmes of the State Government especially in the far-flung area of the State, HP Information & Public Relations Department has come out with the unique idea of Multimedia Exhibition Van to reach to them.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh flagged off the Multimedia Exhibition Van from State Secretariat here today, with the sole aim aware the people in far-flung area of the State about the various policies and programmes of the State Government.
Chief Minister said that the people in remote areas of the State does not have much access to the news papers and other viable media and the Van would prove beneficial to disseminate the Polices of the State Government in such areas in the interest of the people of the State.
Multimedia Exhibition Van, besides giving details about the policies and programme of the state government by exhibiting developmental documentaries, displays and banners, it would also adopt the traditional folk media to attract more people. Print publicity material will also be distributed through this van.
This will be the first of its kind step taken by the State Government and more such Vans would be added depending upon the success of this initiative.
Thakur Singh Bharmouri Forest Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri Industries and Information & Public Relations Minister, V.C. Pharka Additional Chief Secretary, Rakesh Sharma Director Information & Public Relations and other senior officers of the State Government were present on the occasion.
