Chief Secretary S. Roy launched the 24×7 electronic branches (launges) of ICICI Bank near Indira Gandhi Sports Complex at Shimla. Besides benefiting the local residents it would be of great use to the tourists visiting the town as they would get round the clock services.
Chief Secretary expressed happiness over opening of these electronic branches in Shimla, which were first of its kind in North India and lauded the role of the Bank in providing quality services to its customers.
Vikas Jain, Zonal Head, ICICI Bank, apprised the Chief Secretary about various banking facilities being provided by the Bank in Himachal Pradesh. He said that electronic branches were one stop shops for all banking transactions and customers would be able to use these services with the help of automated devices and kiosks.
I.D. Bhandari, DGP, Home Guards, senior officers of the State Government, Vikas Arora, Regional Head, ICICI Bank and Dinesh Duggal, Cluster Head, ICICI Bank Shimla, were also present on the occasion.
