The Excise and Taxation Department auctioned lucrative Parwanoo barrier at Rs 13.5 crore that is around 68.88 per cent higher against the reserve price that was fixed at Rs 8 crore. Ramesh Arora begs contract for the three barriers including Tipra-Timber Trail barrier that was included in the auction for the first time, along with Parwanoo and sector-4 barriers.

I have to cross the parwanoo barrier daily as my shop is in parwanoo.being a resident of kalka and my car registration no. is of kalka the peson incharge of making yearly pass is asking for rs.1350 for yearly pass where it was 150 yearly for people living in an area of 5 kms of the barrier.Can somebody tell me what is the rules framed for making pass .Everytime their is an harassment for people in making pass and paying hier amount of money….MANU JOSHI 9418014520
