To showcase the native culture and promote national and international tourism in Lahaul and Spiti region, Snow festival has been organized by the authorities. The festival will make aware outsiders about the cultural diversity of the region and hone local talent.
The festival saw creative bent of the locals as they carved sculptures out of snow including the sculptures of Buddha and the majestic wildlife. This niche initiative will surely attract people from world over this time around and years down the line.
