High Power Committee to probe Congress supporters brawl

Shimla: A day after the supporters brawl at Congress office Shimla, newly appointed president Kuldeep Singh Rathore has constituted two members High Power Committee of High Court lawyers advocate Nareshwar Singh Chandel and Advocate Rupinder Singh Thakur to look into the matter.

The President has asked committee to furnish their report within 15 days. To ensure High Power Committee unbiased, none of party office bearer were included in the committee, Rathore commented while interacting media here today.

Rathore directed the officials of the HPCC to supply all the relevant records including pictures and videos to the Committee.

Rathore stated that supporters’ infighting was unfortunate and categorically said to take appropriate action against those involved.

In another media face to face, Congress legislature and former Youth Congress head Vikarmaditya Singh has condemned the party workers brawl at the Rajiv Bhawan. He termed the incident unfortunate, however he questioned the appointment of BJP people in the Congress party set up.
