Shimla: The Board of Directors meeting of Himachal Pradesh General Industries, Industrial Development, Handcarts and Handloom Corporation and Khadi and Village Industries Board were held here today.
Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri presided over the meetings and Non-official members of the BoD, Principal Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman, Director, Industries Rajinder Thakur and other senior officers of these Boards attended meetings.
In the meetings, Board of General Industries Corporation and State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation have decided to grant additional installment of dearness allowance at the rate of 7 percent to the employees in cash with the salary of April 2015 payable in May 2015.
In the State Industrial Development Corporation meeting, board has approved nominations and authorizing officials to sign and execute various agreements on behalf of the Corporations required for availing grants from the concerned authorities of the Govt of India and bankers.
Vice Chairman, SIDC, Atul Sharma raised the issue to fill up functional posts in the Corporation for ensuring its effective functioning.
