New Delhi: Vice Chairperson, H.P. Tourism Development Board Major Vijay Singh Mankotia today called on Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Shripad Naik at New Delhi.

Mankotia urged the Union Minister to provide liberal financial assistance to the State for developing tourism circuits and other facilities keeping in view the tough geographical conditions of this hilly State.

Mankotia apprised Naik that State government was making efforts to develop the tourism sector in a big way to attract more domestic and foreign tourists to different destinations of the State.

He also invited Naik to visit Himachal Pradesh. Mankotia presented him Himachali shawl and cap to Union Tourism Minister.

Naik assured that all possible assistance would be provided to Himachal Pradesh for developing various tourist destinations.
