Transport Minister G.S. Bali visited the Balghar bus accident spot. He was accompanied by the technical experts of the Transport Corporation. He announced to set up a Technical Committee of Transport Corporation, which will include technical expert from TATA Motors. The Committee will submit its report within a week period.
G.S. Bali said that a committee under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) has already been constituted to enquire into the reasons of accident.
Minister said that officials of the Corporation especially drivers were being provided better services in odd circumstances and the Corporation was also imparting them proper training.
Bali reiterated that security of passengers was the utmost priority of the Government and it was being ensured that the passengers get comfortable and safe transport facility in HRTC buses.
Transport Minister G.S. Bali also visited Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla and enquired the well being of the injured. He wished speedy recovery to the injured and also directed the medical authorities to provide best medical treatment to the injured.
